The Mandalorian: The Book of Boba Fett

With the arrival of season three of The Mandalorian, I have rewatched seasons 1 and 2 and also The Book of Boba Fett, which turns out to be essential for the story of the Mandalorian and Grogu. Apparently, many fans who have never watched the Book of Boba Fett are now discovering what they missed concerning the journey of Din Djarin and Grogu. Some of them are not happy. I think that this could have easily been avoided if Disney had just been more explicit about the connections between the two series.
The Book of Boba Fett should really have been season 3 of the Mandalorian, and that season could have been titled The Mandalorian: The Book of Boba Fett. Sure, that uses the word “the” a little too much, but it works. Boba Fett is in Mandalorian armor. And for a long time, he was the Mandalorian. Plus, this way would have told fans of the Djarin/Grogu story to stick around for Boba Fett—it’ll be worth it. (Although, why didn’t you already stick around for Boba Fett? It’s freakin’ Boba Fett).
I guess that was an option for an alternative timeline. Regardless, my rewatch is almost done and I am very excited for the third (really fourth) season of The Mandalorian.
